There are twenty gifts stacked up into four piles. The first pile has 3 less than the second pile. The second pile has two more than the third pile. The fourth pile has twice as many as the second pile. How many gifts are in each pile?

The diagram below shows a rectangle, 9 units long, 6 units wide and with parts of non-overlapping circles drawn all over it. The circles all have the same radius and the area of each is 7 square units. Work out the shaded area.
