Two numbers have a sum of 11 and a product of 24. What is their difference?

    For this one, we can just write out all the sums up to 11 and the factors of 24:

    1+10
    2+9
    3+8
    4+7
    5+6
    6+5
    7+4
    8+3
    9+2
    10+1

    24 = 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24

    From this we can get the two numbers as 8 and 3
