A football competition was held between five Year 6 teams. Each team played every other team once. How many games did the teams play in total?

Scrabble Tournament

In a scrabble tournament, players score 5 points for a win, 3 points for a draw and get 0 points if they lose. Part way through the tournament four of the players taking part, players, A, B, C and D, have played different numbers of games and have all lost at least one game. Note that there are other players playing in the tournament whose results are not listed here.

Piles

There are twenty gifts stacked up into four piles.  The first pile has 3 less than the second pile.  The second pile has two more than the third pile.  The fourth pile has twice as many as the second pile.  How many gifts are in each pile?

 Snow White and the seven dwarves work in a mining company. As Chief Executive, Snow White earns as much as all the dwarves put together. Sneezy gets 24 gold galleons a day. Sleepy earns 50% more than Happy. Bashful earns twice as much as Grumpy who earns one more galleon than Sneezy. Doc gets 24 galleons a day more than Dopey and between them they get four times that of Sneezy.
