Length of a cuboid

A cuboid has faces with areas of 18cm2 , 21cm2 and 42cm2 . What are the lengths of its sides?

    We can see that 21 and 42 share a 7 between themselves. If we try out each number with a seven, we will reach a conclusion of having the dimensions:

    7, 3, 6
