    Let’s look at how the numbers are changing:

    3 × 2 = 6

    6 × 2 = 12

    12 × 2 = 24

    24 × 2 = 48

    48 × 2 = 96

    So, the pattern is: each number is multiplied by 2.

    Answer: The missing number is 48.
