Jenny buys 3 notebooks and 2 pens. Each notebook costs £1.50, and each pen costs £0.75. How much does she spend in total?

    To find the total cost, we need to multiply the cost of each item by the number of items and then add the totals together.

    Cost of 3 notebooks:
    3 × £1.50 = £4.50

    Cost of 2 pens:
    2 × £0.75 = £1.50

    Total cost:
    £4.50 + £1.50 = £6.00

    So, Jenny spends £6.00 in total.
