Sarah bought 3 pencils and 2 erasers. Each pencil costs 50p and each eraser costs 30p. How much did Sarah spend in total?

    If one pencil costs 50p, then 3 pencils will cost 150p and if one eraser costs 30p, then 2 erasers will cost 60p. We can add these two values together to get a total value of 210p or £2.10
