James cycles 4000m at 10 metres per second. Alex takes 100 seconds more to cycle the same distance. At what speed does Alex cycle?

    If James cycles at this speed, then that means he took 400 seconds to do this. Alex took 500 seconds to do 4000m which means he cycles at 8 metres per second
