School Play

Miss Drew is arranging the cast for the school nativity play. There are 6 children and 6 characters – Mary, Joseph, Herod, a shepherd, the innkeeper and an angel. If possible, Miss Drew must give each child his or her first choice but, if this is not possible, his or her second choice. The table below shows each child’s first and second choices.
