Let's denote the five consecutive numbers as n, n+1, n+2, n+3, n+4.
ReplyDeleteThe sum of the first four numbers is given as:
n + (n+1) + (n+2) + (n+3) = 94
Simplifying this, we get:
4n + 6 = 94
Subtract 6 from both sides:
4n = 88
Divide by 4:
n = 22
So, the numbers are 22, 23, 24, 25, 26.
The fifth number is:
n + 4 = 22 + 4 = 26
The fifth number in the sequence is 26.
